Biographical Info
I’ve been a psychologist in private practice for over 30 years. Prior to this I was trained and worked in Early Childhood Education as a teacher, director, and later as an advisor. I’ve also taught in Adult Education, worked in Community Mental Health and University Counselling. These experiences created an interest in how we all navigate life’s challenges – what makes us ‘tick’ – and decided to make psychology my profession. I trained in The Richards Trauma Process (TRTP) in 2016 and since then have developed a strong base of referring specialists for treatment of depression, anxiety and trauma, specifically difficult and severe trauma cases.
I use my extensive experience in counselling, coaching and psychotherapy for individuals and couples as an adjunct to my TRTP sessions.
I work with older teenagers, adults, older adults and couples
