Participation requirements

Weekly Time Commitment and Live Attendance

TRTP Practitioner Training requires active participation. It is not a watch-at-your-own-pace video library.

  • Approximately one to three hours of online learning, depending on the module
  • One to two hours for the live Zoom call
  • Approximately two hours of partner practice during listed practice weeks
  • Time for online assessments, assignments or preparation activities
  • Additional client preparation and session time during Weeks 15–18

The most practice-intensive teaching weeks may require approximately six to seven hours, excluding client work. Participants are responsible for arranging partner-practice times with the relevant members of their cohort.

Experiential breakout-room activities are not recorded. Attendance is therefore required for experiential and practice-based components. Any available recording does not replace participation in required experiential learning.

Included after training

Six Months of TRTP Practice Mentoring and Case Consultation

The formal training program concludes on , but support does not stop there.

For the following six months, participants receive continued TRTP-specific practice mentoring and case consultation at no additional cost.

Weekly 60-Minute Practice Mentoring Calls

Bring de-identified client scenarios and practical application questions to experienced TRTP trainers.

  • Client suitability and assessment
  • Client preparation and homework
  • Planning for an upcoming session
  • Questions arising during client work
  • Reviewing progress and determining next steps
  • Integrating TRTP within existing practice

Continued Online Community Support

Retain access to the private TRTP community throughout the included support period.

  • Submit TRTP-specific questions between calls
  • Receive guidance from trainers
  • Learn from questions raised by other practitioners
  • Remain connected with peers
  • Revisit relevant discussions and shared learning

Continued Training Access

Participants retain access to relevant TRTP training resources and recordings throughout the included six-month support period.

Practice mentoring is not formal clinical supervision.

The included calls provide TRTP-specific education, practice mentoring and de-identified case consultation. They are not a substitute for formal clinical supervision and should not be described as recognised supervision or professional development unless that status has been confirmed by the participant’s relevant professional association or regulatory body.

Participants remain responsible for client confidentiality, consent, record keeping, professional judgement, scope of practice and arranging formal clinical supervision where required.
