Biographical Info
Catherine has been providing psychological support to people for almost 30 years. She has worked as a neuropsychologist in adult psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, and chronic progressive neurology settings and now has a particular interest in working with people who live with Multiple Sclerosis. Across the past 15 years Catherine has provided psychological therapy to adults seeking treatment for anxiety and depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, loss and grief, burnout, and adjustment disorder.
Catherine has been trained in a range of therapeutic modalities and is excited to have TRTPTM as part of her therapeutic toolkit. TRTPTM helps people who are both suited to the process and motivated to live a full and meaningful life, to achieve a state of calm with improved confidence – so that they feel more able to live life to their potential, unconstrained by life events that have previously held them back.
Sometimes clients ask for help beyond TRTPTM to help them to harness life skills that they have not yet had the opportunity to practice, but for many clients, liberation from patterns of control developed in response to distressing life events is all that is needed for them to take control of their lives.
