Biographical Info
I formed my Company Redefined Counselling and Consultancy 4 year ago, after working in private practice in conjunction with the Public Mental Health Services in the acute crisis team and then later GP practices providing psychotherapy, counselling, along with psychological interventions for 12 years.
I am a Mental Health Accredited Social Worker for 16 Years, during this time I have developed extensive modalities which form a part of an eclectic therapeutic approach.
I wanted something in my tool box of therapies that would help my clients finally resolve long standing struggles with anxiety, trauma and relationship issues. I embarked on the TRTP to help others to discover a freedom from self sabotage. During the process and intensive training I discovered some of my own unresolved baggage. I have been able to relate to others, by understanding the process they must take to be free from the past. I believe that my clients are the author to their own story.
I have four adult children, four grandchildren and a long standing relationship with my husband. I love the outdoors, nature, adventures , travel and my family. I find a balance to life when incorporating most of these aspects including my spirituality, meditations, Yoga and Mindfulness. I enjoy learning and read about self improvement strategies and the mind.
