Biographical Info
Liz has a passion for assisting those who wish to overcome their traumas and live their life to the fullest.
Liz has her own lived experience of traumas, including recent impact of grief and loss of a loved one, and knows firsthand the impact that distressing life events have on one's life. However, Liz also understands that if you are prepared to do the work, life does not need to be consumed by poor mental health, depression, anxiety, or other diagnosable mental health conditions.
TRTP has allowed Liz to not only to overcome her childhood and lifelong trauma's but took her recently aquired debilitating grief, and 'turned it on its head', to the point where Liz now feels she can join the world again.
Liz became a practioner to enhance the knowledge she has gained from not only her university education (Bachelor of Psycology and Masters of Research – Mental Health Peer Work), but her decade of working in the mental health arena as a peer, supporting community members with a mental health diagnosis through her own lived experience of mental health diagnosis (bipolar), and her own personal healing and recovery journey. As a TRTP practioner, Liz is keen to assist others on their journey towards healing their own distressing, and overwhelming life events, in order to not only create, but to engage with their newly found rich and rewarding life.
Liz is self employed as a TRTP Practioner, Mental Health Peer Support Worker, and Psychosocial Recovery Coach
