Biographical Info
I am a registered Psychologist with extensive experience within both private practice and corporate environments. I completed my Masters Degree in Psychology in 2003 with a focus on organisational behaviour and work-life balance, and I have specialised skills in corporate consultancy including career transition, the management of work-related stress and bullying, and mental wellbeing in the workplace. As I transitioned into private practice over a decade ago, I have thoroughly enjoyed working with individuals to understand their struggles more deeply, and to navigate a path to greater happiness and self-empowerment. I have a warm and compassionate approach to working with my clients, and I pay close attention to respectfully and curiously understanding my clients within their current context, and at a deeper level. I provides a safe space to explore my client’s concerns in a collaborative manner, and am focused upon achieving growth and change, assisting my clients to access their inner resourcefulness, and to find a space to feel safe, connected and fulfilled. I have a special interest in assisting clients who experience anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, and trauma. Whilst I do adopt a holistic approach to the work that I do, the introduction of TRTP into the therapy space with my clients has been incredibly powerful. TRTP allows my clients to release blockages that we have not been able to shift in traditional therapy, and to honour the parts of themselves that have always been hidden. It is a very powerful therapeutic tool that I enjoy using in the collaborative sessions with my clients. As a registered Psychologist, I am an accredited Medicare and Private Health Fund Provider, and rebates do apply where appropriate.
